carp fishing 2011 Bob is my guest this week and we walked the lake looking for signs of carp and they where showing round the back in a patchy weed bed so we plonked a bucket in the swim and walked round with the gear,it was no more than half an hour before Bobs rod screamed off and its the known lake record at a lower weight of 30lb 4oz .This fish came out for me last September at 32lb and it can go to 34lb but regardless of weight it was a great fish and a new PB carp for Bob COME ON!

We headed down to our new members lake for the first proper session of 2011. The wind was incredibly strong, and we had to start in near darkness, but we had a really good session, and managed to get a look at a few of the residents in the lake- with one carp pushing one of our pbs!
